Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY PATCH-CLAMP SYSTEM (QPATCH II/QP310 PLUS PARTS) This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using�Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Chemical Biological Center (CBC) Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, requires preventive maintenance and repair-support (PMR) for QP310/QPatch II and software manufactured by Sophion Bioscience. This is A non-personal services contract to provide preventive maintenance and repair-support (PMR) for QP310/QPatch II and software. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Sophion Bioscience, Inc., 312 Burlington Road, Suite 105, Bedford, MA 01730. Sophion Bioscience is the previous contract holder and due to the continued need for the maintenance and support services for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance and repair services of the QP310/QPatch II and software, has been deemed critical. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the Business Size Standard is $20.5M. All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), 31 August, 2022.
