- The Veteran s Administration (VA) Office of Research and Development, Regional Procurement Office East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sable Systems International based in Las Vegas, NV on behalf of the Minneapolis, MN VA Healthcare System. The requirement is to provide repair, parts, calibration and preventive maintenance on a Sable Indirect Calorimetry system currently installed and in-use at the MN VA facility. The specific work and parts required include: 4 Each SA476 MM-1-1 w/o TRRS Cable 3 Each SA193 FR4 Flow Blade MOD board 1 Each A315 ESA kit 5 Each CO2 Optical Assembly 2 Each SA663 Gas Analyzer Subsample Blade 1 Each SA317 Beam Break Z Rat w/o TRRS cable 2 Each C4863 O2 Fuel Cell holder 1 Each C3160 FR internal pump 3 Each SA318 Bean Break XY rat w/o TRRS cable 1 Each SA680 Power Mod Harness 16 Each SVC-R-1 Repair & Calibration of system at Sable site. 1 Each Shipping The requirement will take place at a VA facility Minneapolis, Minnesota. The sole source is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the contracting office no later than Friday August 26, 2022 (10:00 AM, EST). A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
