- AMENDMENT 001: Replaces Appendices A, B, the solicitation, and adds REVISED site visit notes.� The Forest Service will not be providing an additional pre-bid meeting, but will answer any questions that contractor�s have about the posted solicitation. Please sign and return the SF-30 with your quote that can be found in the Attachments section of this posting. BACKGROUND: The Acme Creek Stewardship IRSC shall be awarded under the following authority: Stewardship Authority: Section 604 (16 USC 6591c) of Public Law 108-148 as amended by Section 8205 of Public Law 113-79, the Agricultural Act of 2014�Grants the U.S. Forest Service (Government) permanent authority to enter into stewardship contracts or agreements to achieve land management goals for the National Forests or public lands that meet local and rural community needs. Section 8205 supersedes the temporary authority granted to the Forest Service (Government) in section 347 of Public Law 105-277, the Omnibus Consolidated and Emergency Appropriations Act, 1999. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located �in T11N, R74W; sections 12, 13, 14, 23 and 24 and T11N, R73W; sections 19 and 20, Larimer County, Colorado. Period of Performance:�All work shall be completed by September 30, 2026. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Acme Creek Stewardship IRSC includes 330 acres of treatment in Lodgepole Pine and mixed conifer stands.�Service work includes cutting, skidding and piling of non-sawtimber trees, road maintenance and the installation/removal of a temporary bridge OR the installation of concrete mats.�� � Estimated Timber is as follows: Lodgepole Pine (Live/Dead)� Sawtimber:� � � � � � � � � 1,465 CCF Subalpine Fir and Others (Live/Dead) Sawtimber� � � � �232 CCF A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2022 to discuss the objectives of this contract. The meeting will take place from 8:30-9:30 am MT at the Canyon Lakes District Office, 2150 Centre Ave Building E, Fort Collins, CO 80521. There will be no field visit as a part of this meeting. Documents 5c and 5d� of the Solicitation package (Schedule of Items) for Temporary Bridge and Concrete Mats)� provide itemized work elements to assist in pricing. The total of these items is what should be included in the Schedule of Items of the Solicitaton. The Awardee shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions and clauses of the contract. Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Performance Bonds are not required for this project. All Contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at�https://www.sam.gov/SAM/�to be eligible for award under this solicitation. If not actively registered by time of proposal evaluations, you will be found non-responsive. Registration in SAM is a free service � you do not need to pay to register in this system. If your registration is not active, you will not be considered for award.
