Description

Vendor Questions/Government Responses Vendor Question: For the Department of Veterans, is there a hatch or door for us to use to get up to the roof where the roof anchors are? Yes, you can access the roof on the 5th floor Penthouse. The door leads out to the roof, so no additional equipment needed to access roof. Vendor Question: What materials are these anchors made of? SEE PG-3 of Solicitation Testing to be completed on all 192+/- 5 of installed anchors Anchor structure and anchor type must allow for pull testing using a come-along and or hydra-jaws Tie-off anchors intended for suspension shall be tested to 2,500 lbs. Vendor Question: Who is the manufacturer of the anchors? Currently unavailable, pictures available in prior amendment. Vendor Question: Is it the intention that the  coordination and close out meetings are scheduled at the beginning and end of each year s testing/re-certification? The initial meeting will be mandatory and a coordination meeting during the base years. Vendor Question: Is this report done at the end of each year s testing/re-certification or only one report at the end of the 5-year contract? Will need documentation/certification on pull test and option year visual/re-certification inspections. Vendor Question: Is this a 1-year contract with 4-year options or a single 5-year contract?
