Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This presolicitation notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes.� The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).� The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to solicit to Leonardo DRS, Marlo Coil to provide installation and technical assistance of a Ship Stores Refrigeration Unit (SSRU) onboard a Virginia Class Submarine.� In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-22-Q-0086 was posted to the U.S. Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, on 19 August 2022 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement, which resulted in no other qualified sources from the industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. This presolicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.� This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-22-Q-0086 and in accordance with FAR 5.204.
