- Sole Source Notice:� N00014-22-Q-0008 Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE The Office of Naval Research (ONR) intends to issue a sole source �award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, on or about 01 August 2017 to Accelerated Development & Support, Corp. (ADS). ��The base period of performance will be 15 June 2022 to 14 June 2023. The prospective contractor shall maintain currency with industry methods, approaches and standards in a continuously evolving acquisition and engineering environment.� To do so, DoN systems commands must remain apprised of global industry activities while retaining a position of leadership in the development, refinement, and publishing of standards germane to Naval platforms and systems, and regarding data interface standards for exchange of information with our vendor partners through contractual arrangements. �The prospective contractor will also provide annual membership to attend symposiums, participate in standards issuing decisions, and use products and services available to members.� The membership allows Department of Navy (DON) to identify a participant to attend OMG events (exchangeable among identified individuals within the DON), possess voting rights for a specified standards body.� Membership also advances the training and development of attending and participating personnel. ONR intends to award this requirement as a sole source to Object Management Group (OMG).� OMG is an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards and reference consortium for open systems architecture and model based engineering. These standards are driven by vendors, end-users, academic institutions and government agencies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and Size Standard for this requirement is 813920 � Size Standards in millions of dollars $16.5. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation and summary of technical capabilities, which, if received within fifteen calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by ONR. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below.� Any responses to this notice must clearly show how competition would be advantageous to the Government.
