- Mission and Installation Contracting Command {MICC) Fort Hood is issuing SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Request for Quotes {RFQ) firm fixed price construction contract to perform all work in strict accordance with the contract, the statement of work, and identified drawings to perform the necessary installations, and modifications to equip building 5183 with new cypher locks located on McChord of JBLM Washington . The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits to perform construction work on a Federal installation, be properly bonded and insured in accordance with FAR requirements. The anticipated NAICS code(s) is NAICS Code 236220 -All other Specialty Trade Contractors and standard business size is $16.5 million. All work will be performed within the confines of the JBLM-McChord Military Installation, at Fort Lewis, WA. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: WA20220013 02/25/2022; State: Washington; Construction Type: Building; County: Pierce County in Washington, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $5,000,000 whichever is less. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. An organized site visit will be conducted for this procurement on 04 August 2022 at 2:00 pm PDT.. All interested firms are required to RSVP by 02 August 2022 at 1200 hrs PDT. for the site visit. Details of the site visit is available in the solicitation and the attachment. The completing contract performance notice to proceed under solicitation number W91151-22-Q-0128. The technical exhibits will be available for inspection without charge thru the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in the System for Award Management {SAM) at (www.sam.gov) to receive a government contract award. Bidders shall register in SAM as well at (www.sam.gov). Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) must also be current to qualify to receive an award.
