Four (4) Laboratory Precision cutting saws which shall come with the following features� (a) Color LCD touchscreen with keypad entry to control all functions (b) Selectable units of measure - imperial or metric (c) Automatic Y-axis sample advancement with programmable feed rate from 0.01"" to 5"" per minute or greater (d) Programmable cut depth up to 7� in 0.01� increments or finer increments with high-speed auto retraction. (e) Selectable cutting force that optimizes feed rate based on blade load (f) Load monitoring to reduce blade binding/breakage (g) Motorized (joystick) Y-axis sample positioning (h) Manual (hand wheel) Y-axis sample positioning/cutting (i) Adjustable Y-axis jog speeds, with joystick proportional control (j) X-Axis Indexing Table with minimum 4"" Travel and 25 ?m resolution (k) Sample rotation capability for difficult, round or thick samples with rotational cutting capability (l) Variable blade speed: 500-5,000+ RPM in 100 RPM increments with drive motor completely isolated from cutting wheel. (m) Minimum cutting capacity of 2.5"" bar stock (n) Ability to use 3"" to 8"" diameter by .030 thickness blades with either 0.5"" or 1.25"" arbor hole. Currently the lab is using Buehler 11-4207-101 cutting blades. (o) Spindle lock for easy blade changes (p) Adjustable coolant flow and position with coolant wash-down hose (q) LED illuminated interior (r) Protective metal cover with viewing windows and auto shut-off sensor (s) Recirculating external coolant system with a minimum 6 gallon capacity (t) Quick-Slide stainless steel vise with minimum 2"" opening with removable Delrin insert (u) Removable vise riser to lift vice by 1.5"" (v) Sensor Actuation Assembly to shut down saw prior to vice impacting the saw wheel spindle. (w) CE compliant for EU (x) Roller cart, for Coolant Reservoir capable of supporting weight of coolant and the saw. (y) Minimum two (2) year warranty 2.�On-site training for up to ten personnel.
