- Description
- Purpose The purpose of this announcement is to invite all potential SFRC or modification vendors (operations, maintenance, sustainment, integration, and LTRS hardware/software modifications vendors) to participate in the Industry Day event to be held virtually on 11 Aug 2022. The objective of this Industry Day is to provide information on the approved SFRC acquisition strategy. Discussion The United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Launch Delta (SLD) 45, in conjunction with SLD 30, intend to hold an Industry Day to discuss the approved acquisition strategy for SFRC and related efforts. SFRC will encompass the operations, maintenance, and sustainment (OM&S) services of the LTRS as well as integration of Range of the Future (RoTF) modifications. Integration functions from the current LTRS SE&I will be shifted to SFRC to create a top-to-bottom integration effort. Modifications will be acquired separately from SFRC using the General Services Administrations Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), Military Depots, and other procurement vehicles as necessary. This Industry Day is targeted at companies that can perform one or all of the aforementioned services for the LTRS. A draft RFP is planned to be released for industry review in January of 2023 and release the final RFP in May of 2023 with the subsequent contract award in March of 2024. Prior to the draft RFP release, the Government intends to release draft RFP components as they become available to solicit feedback as early as possible.
