Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. **************************************************************** 10. b. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform survey and treatment of grasshopper larvae near the airfields, on an annual basis. Pest control treatment by airplane is not an option. Airfield acreage for treatment (estimated) range is between 450 � 922 (acres). According to USDA, larvae treatment should occur between the months of March through May, annually. **************************************************************** Procurement Method: Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial services (FAR 12) **************************************************************** The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561710 and the annual size standard is $15.5M. **************************************************************** The contract term will be a base period of one year plus two option years.� **************************************************************** This contract has no previous procurement history. **************************************************************** The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside.� The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. **************************************************************** Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, inquiries received within 14 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. **************************************************************** The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns.� Interested small business concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 14�days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and answers to our questions under� No. 12, in this document.
