Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.002(a)(1)(iii), agencies shall satisfy requirements for supplies and services from or through the mandatory government sources. Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (FPI) is mandatory source. The FPI item is comparable to supplies available from the private sector that best meet the Government�s needs in terms of price, quality, and time of delivery. The MICC - Ft Knox intends to award a contract, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 8.002(a)(1)(iii) to Federal Prison Industries, Inc (FPI).� NAICS Code changed to reflect 334310 Audio and Video Manufacturing.� Solicitation W9124D22Q0259 replaces W9124D21Q0118 Award will be made from solicitaion W9124D22Q00259 to FPI.
