- This requirement is for an Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery contract with a Basic one (1) year ordering period and four (4) additional 12-month ordering periods to purchase ALR-56M Radio Frequency (RF) Amplifiers, National Stock Number (NSN) 5995-01-363-7066EW. �The Basic is for the total of quantity of 91. The 4 additional 12-month Ordering Periods are for a quantity of 33 each (Ordering Period Year I), 31 each (Ordering Period Year II), 25 each (Ordering Period Year III), and 25 each (Ordering Period Year IV).The ALR-56M RF Amplifiers, NSN 5995-01-363-7066EW, P/N 330405-101 which is installed on the F-16C/D and C-130J aircraft. The RF Amp is a component of the Super-heterodyne Receiver Line Replace Unit that is part of the ALR-56M. The ALR-56M Advanced Radar Warning Receiver continuously detects and intercepts RF signals in certain frequency ranges and analyses and separates threat signal from non-threat signals. It displays threat signals to the pilot on a priority basis. The offeror shall prepare their proposal in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The government does not own the technical drawings required to produce/repair these components. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1(a) (2). There is only one responsible source, CTT, Inc. CAGE CODE 66087, that can fulfill this acquisition for these NSNs as stated above since they are the only vendor that has the proprietary technical data to support this effort. �We anticipate the release of the RFP on or around 29 July 2022 with an estimated response date of 29 August 2022. The RFP and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
