34300022P0028 NOTICE TYPE:� SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE �� �EBSCO INDUSTRIES, INC. NAICS Code ���� 519130 � Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals PSC������ ��������������� DH10 � IT and Telecom - Platform As A Service The U. S. International Trade Commission (USITC or Commission), intends to make an award, on a sole source basis, to Ebsco Industries, Inc., 10 Estes ST, Ipswich,�MA,�01938-2106, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� This requirement is for an annual subscription to Ebsco�s Discovery Service (EDS). The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC or Commission) requires the database subscription to compile indexes from proprietary content of its other databases and information indexes. EDS creates a custom index relevant to our existing and different subscriptions, and then provides accurate de-duplicated results for end users. It both saves time and allows end users to just search one database that cuts across all that EBSCO databases that we hold indexing licensing agreements with and where we have subscriber accounts. The period of performance is one year, with anticipated four 1 year options:� October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2027. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals.� A solicitation will not be available for this requirement.� The intent of this announcement is for informational purposes only.� However, any information received within five days after the posting date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information may be sent to Ian Quillman, Contracting Officer, at ian.quillman@usitc.gov.� A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Telephonic questions or requests are strongly discouraged.�
