- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey (CCNJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command � Armament Center (CCCDC-AC), located at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote (RFQ) to Syracuse Supply, 43 County Rte 59, Phoenix, NY 13135 to purchase Skive Capability Processes and Tooling. The Government requires the following: -Skive only tooling head -Skive/burnishing tooling head -Inserts, rollers and any other expendable tooling. The Period of Performance (PoP) is for eight (8) weeks from the date of award. This is a Sole Source RFQ.� In accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR 13.106(b)(1).� A Sole Source Justification was approved on August 10, 2022 pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) asserting that Syracuse Supply is the only source capable of providing the required tooling heads for Skiving and roller burnishing applications; the redacted document is attached to this notice. The applicable NAICS Code for this effort is 332710. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ).� Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP/RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government.� Responses to this synopsis are not considered quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
