Description
The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Everett, Washington intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to accomplish Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) 3A2 on the USS MOMSEN (DDG-92). This acquisition is planned to be set-aside 100 percent for small businesses that fall within the 1,250 size standard, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611 (Non-Nuclear Ship repair West), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-Asides. The estimated solicitation release date is 26 September 2022. The expected period of performance is 06 February 2023 � 24 February 2023.� The Government intends to solicit for offers from prospective contractors that previously executed a master agreement; or have not previously executed a master agreement, but possess the necessary qualifications to perform the work and agree to execute a master agreement before award of contract. �The Government will send solicitations to all Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders, with Approved agreements or a narrative that demonstrates the capabilities necessary to complete the avail per the requirements on the upcoming solicitation, for repair or alternation of the USS MOMSEN within the Pacific North West Region. �The Government will not exclude any company that has requested a solicitation. � All work for this solicitation will be executed on the PSNS/IMF Everett Detachment Shipyard. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 CFR Parts 120-130) applies to this acquisition. � All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov. Notice Regarding Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive or Confidential to the responder, exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act.��PSNS & IMF may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in the announcement.��This pre-solicitation announcement is released in accordance with FAR 5.204.��Information provided in response to this pre-solicitation announcement is for informational and planning purposes only, will not be considered an offer by the responding contractor, and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
