Amend 01 Extend submission date and anticipated award date, attach form DD254 and add Q&A Amend 02 Corrects error in pricing sheet for Student research associate and extends submission date� Amend 03 Submission reopened with extended submission, ordering period changed to 2 years with option for 6 month extension. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented by FAR 13, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N0018922QZ292 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are provided as an attachment to this synopsis. This requirement is being unrestricted full and open competition. The NAICS code is 541690 � Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The business size standard is $16.5M.� The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department of NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk intends to solicit and award a Single Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (FFP IDIQ) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote represents the best value after evaluation in accordance with the factors in the solicitation. �Task orders issued off of it would be in accordance with the FFP IDIQ pricing. REQUIREMENT: The United States Naval Observatory requires services of undergraduate and graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and professors to provide short-term technical support, research analysis, and related support for Government research and development activities. Services will be inspected and accepted at Destination by the Government. The Ordering Period for this contract will be 2 years from the award date. The anticipated award date is 1 December 2022. This requirement does include options conditional to the availability of funds. �� SUBMISSION OF QUOTES: Initial quotes and any amendments thereto are due on or before 27 September 2022�at 10:00 AM. Quotes shall be sent to: Michael.j.stoutenger.civ@us.navy.mil. All questions about this RFQ shall be submitted by 16 September 2022� to Michael Stoutenger at Michael.j.stoutenger.civ@us.navy.mil.
