- Description
- VENDOR QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES FROM HOUSTON VAMC POC 1) I simply need to know if you only seek pre-production planning for a 10-month PoP and NOT any actual animation at this time. We are seeking actual animation services during the PoP. 2) What length are we aiming for each of the 6 videos? Estimated times for each video as follows: Video 1 (~4 mins), Video 2 (~4-5 mins), Video 3 (~8-9 mins), Video 4 (~8-9 mins), Video 5 (~7-8 mins), and Video 6 (~9-10 mins). 3) Is there a deadline for delivering the final videos? Yes, the final videos need to be produced within 6-8 weeks. 4) Are there any videos you can reference that show the style of illustrations and animation you are looking for? Please see the following videos as references: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hV7NBT0pIY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC_MPCXs0Sw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qhadch9oDo 5) Is there a specific call to action for each of the videos beyond training mental health professionals? There will NOT be a call to action at this time for the videos as they will be used internally for training mental health professionals interested in partnering with our team to lead workshops. 6) The SOW mentions animated videos but I do not see any details regarding the type of animation. Can you provide more detail about the nature of the videos? There are many types of animation we can provide but I want to make sure I understand the scope before we provide a quote. We are currently in the process of testing whether a 1-day Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)-based workshop helps veterans with improved quality of life and reductions in distress. As part of this process, we are developing 2-D animated training videos to assist therapists who partner with us for these studies learn how to deliver 1-day workshops. The 2-D animated videos are part of a training program that includes live training, consultation, and clinician training manual. Future plans are to use these videos more broadly when we are finished researching its effectiveness to train VA mental health professionals. 7) Without some understanding of how long each animated video may be (5 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.) and whether you re seeking 2-D or 3-D animation, there is no way we can properly price this project. Should you have this information available, please advise so that we may provide a fair price quote. We are seeking to create 2-D animation for 6 total animated training videos. Estimated times for each video as follows: Video 1 (~4 mins), Video 2 (~4-5 mins), Video 3 (~8-9 mins), Video 4 (~8-9 mins), Video 5 (~7-8 mins), and Video 6 (~9-10 mins). The total estimated run time is 40-45 minutes. 8) Can you share/describe any examples of visual styles that you desire? Please see the following videos as references: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hV7NBT0pIY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC_MPCXs0Sw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qhadch9oDo 9) Can you explain how long each animated video shall be, number of minutes? We would like to create 6 short-animated training videos that will vary in length from 4-8 minutes. The total estimated run time is 40-45 minutes. Estimated times for each video as follows: Video 1 (~4 mins), Video 2 (~4-5 mins), Video 3 (~8-9 mins), Video 4 (~8-9 mins), Video 5 (~7-8 mins), and Video 6 (~9-10 mins). 10) Do you desire characters in the videos or purely moving information? We prefer to have designated characters that can introduce concepts, which can be difficult to understand. We also want to include characters and settings that can show visually what the workshop environment looks like (e.g., group of veterans sitting together with a therapist standing to demonstrate information). We prefer characters to be culturally diverse in gender, race/ethnicity, age, disability status, etc.
