Description

This notice IAW FAR 5.2-Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions is not a request for quotes, but rather a notice of intent to sole source. It is at the Government s discretion to consider responses to this notice. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a Firm Fixed Price 5 Year Blanket Purchase Agreement for CEPHEID reagents and supplies. The items are compatible with Government owned Cepheid GeneXpert systems currently in use at multiple VAMC locations throughout VISN 1 and fill a critical role in the testing of respiratory viruses, including Covid-19, and several other bacterial/viral infections.
