- RFQ 36C10A22Q0224-Mammography Tracking Questions and Answers Below are proposed question(s) from industry; highlighted is VA s answers: Industry Question: Can contracting provide the volumes and numbers listed below? Annual: Mammograms Breast Ultrasounds Breast MRI Total: Techs Rads Reading Workstations MQSA Inspection Locations Mammography Machines Government Answer: As a pilot project, initial deployment scope will be a maximum of 5 separate VA health care systems and estimates on volume, users (Tech and Rad), PACS workstations, and mammography machines are just that, estimates. During the pilot project, we will need MTS flexibility as the program matures. 2,000 5,000 screening mammograms per site per year 1, possibly 2 mammography Techs per site, though note that the RFP explicitly states that for the pilot, concurrent users shall not be capped 3-5 NTP Radiologists see note above about licenses 3 initial reading workstations with potential to go up to 5 see note above about licenses MQSA inspection locations will be up to 5 separate VA facilities Estimate 1 or possibly 2 mammography machines per site, but will likely be 1 per site
