Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Irving, TX 75063 is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to execute a single source award as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) to Datamation Systems Incorporated 125 Louis Street, South Hackensack NJ 07606. Prior to awarding, market research was conducted and concluded the request to supply storage racks as a sole source contract is in the best interests to the Government because the storage racks are not available from any other contractor. In accordance with FAR Part 13, specifically Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), there is only one (1) responsible source, and no other software licenses will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334419. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector size number of employees is 750. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the contracting office no later than Tuesday, September 13, 2022, 9:00 AM, EDT. Interest/capability statements may be sent to Terry Teichmann via email to terry.l.teichmann@ice.dhs.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
