Description

Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command intends to procure Starlink LEO Internet Services. Currently, Starlink has the only capability to provide emergent communication services to critical areas of operation. NSW requires three (3) Starlink High-Performance Terminals kits with 1-year of Nation-wide service.� NSW Contracting intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source contract to Space Exploration�Technologies Corp., 1 Rocket Rd, Hawthorne, CA 90250-6844, for LEO Internet Services, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Proposed contract action will be a purchase order for the identified items and services and not to exceed $250,000. Contract is planned to be awarded by 30 September 2022. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� The sole source justification will be posted under this synopsis after award. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517410 and the Business Size is $38.5M. The associated Product Service Code (PSC) is DD01.� This synopsis shall not be construed as an RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
