Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) may soon solicit for furniture items required to furnish offices in the VA Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC) for a potential upcoming requirement located at, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. Pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research, the purpose of this notice is to conduct acquisition planning to determine whether a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or another socio economic set aside is possible. The VA will consider SDVOSB s and VOSB s that are currently verified as registered on the VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website at Vetbiz.va.gov. The anticipated NAICS Code will be 337215: Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing, with a 500-employee size standard. The VA is seeking responses from interested and capable SDVOSB, VOSB, and other small business that can provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervisory services for the installation of conference room furniture for Bldg. 16, 2 private office workstations for Rm. 102 and 108, 10 office cubicle workstations for Bldg. 191, Rm. 101, and 7 office cubicle workstations for Bldg. 16, Rm. 101 at the VA LETC. Furniture Description: 17 cubicle workstations: Shall have L-shaped desks and include panels that are 6 foot in height, with one panel made of magnetic whiteboard material. Each cubicle workstation shall have an adjustable mesh upholstered chair and a slim style wall locker. Each cubicle workstation shall have a dual power outlet and dual CAT6A coaxial cable receptacle. 2 private office workstations: One office will require a workstation with an L-shaped desk to be outfitted with overhead storage and an adjustable mesh upholstered chair. The other office will require a workstation with a U-shaped or two-piece executive style desk with nothing else additional. Conference room furniture: Conference table for 6 people and 6 adjustable chairs are required. Interested parties should reply to Kenneth.Letourneau@va.gov via email, using the subject Office Furniture for VA LETC on or before (10 days from today) and provide a statement of interest that identifies the DUNS number, as well as a brief statement of capability that includes the scope of work required above. The response should be limited to ten pages. The closing date of this sources sought notice is September 22, 2022, at 3:00 p.m./ Eastern Standard Time.
