Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The 108th Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a contract to Draeger, Inc. 3135 Quarry Rd Telford, PA. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� �This notice will be distributed solely through the Contract Opportunities Website (https://beta.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Contract Opportunities site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 333413 - Industrial and Commercial Fan and Blower and Air Purification Equipment Manufacturing.; the size standard is 500 employees. The 108th Wing intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Draeger, Inc to purchase a breathable air unit that is compatible with its current compressor and air tank systems. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, BIDS or PROPOSALS, and a solicitation will not be issued. Responsible sources may identify their interests and or provide a capability statement as a response to this notice. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to and no later than September 18, 2022 at 12:00p.m. EST. The point of the contact for this announcement is Capt Karen Foulds, Contracting Officer. All correspondence shall be written and sent via email to karen.foulds@us.af.mil. The Government will not accept telephone inquiries. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
