- Amendment 0001- Extending the closing date and time - Issued 9/13/2022 - Please see attached. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) N5523622R0019 is issued as other than full and open competition as brand name limited source to the Original Equipement Manufacturer (OEM), SKF USA, INC's authorized distributors. The subject solicitation is being processed using FAR Part 12 and 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332991 - Ball and Roller Bearing Manufacturing. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 (Effective May 26, 2022) and DFARS Publication Notice 20220623. DESCRIPTION: The requirement is for a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract: CLIN Description 0001 Contractor to provide replacement Coupling parts for the USS ANCHORAGE (LPD-23) in accordance with the attached Product description, and Exhibit A (ELINs), as amended.
