- STATEMENT OF WORK Solaire Inner Space Medical Carts Brand name or equal to 1. Description: This requirement is to purchase Inner Space medical carts for the replacement of current cabinets during the renovation of the education department supporting the Beckley VA Medical Center. 2. Scope of Work: We are seeking inner space Solaire Medical Roam 1 & 2 Carts including accessories. 3. Salient Characteristics: Carts were measured to fit the room specified for storage during renovation. The carts were uniquely designed/measurements to include width and height to meet the needs of the education department in storage of high-dollar manikins, models, and high-risk supplies. All the carts have corner bumpers and corner trim: thermoplastic polymer to prevent damage to walls, equipment, and the cart itself. The carts have door slats and easy grip handles with glass tempered glass The carts have 5 medical grade casters for easy movement by staff to other areas of the medical center and for use in simulation for mock codes and simulation. They are stable in movement with less risk of overturn. The carts are made of steel and aluminum with glass doors that promotes easy cleaning to prevent contamination of products, supplies, or manikins reducing infection risks amongst staff. The carts promote secure storage of manikins and supplies with key lock or keypad. This prevents risk of theft and misuse of products. Dimensions: Counter height Roam Carts 1 and 2 are specifically designed to need and clear separation for topics and stakeholders: RN, LPN, Nurse Aid, physician Resident, Pharmacy Resident, Nursing Resident, etc. training. Carts were designed to be secure and with clear delineation of supplies such as: Intravenous set ups, foley catheter set ups, nursing, and resident orientation such as suturing kits, injectable joints with appropriate needle devices, airway and intubation items, etc. Roam 1 counter height Size of 23.5 w x 28.75 d x 44.25 h- with baskets, shelfs, to include dividers unique to need and storage. Roam 2 Counter height has tempered glass doors with medical grade casters. 28.75: d x 37.5 w x44.25 h Keypad lock to prevent unsupervised use of items such as needles, syringes, set up trays for intubation, and suturing items and kits. Roam 2 cart has compartments with specific size for safe manikin storage. Aluminum with glass doors with door key lock and keypad locks. The locks are in effort to keep educational medications, needles, and other high-risk supplies decrease availability to staff without the supervision of instructors and prevents risk of theft and misuse of products. Dividers are based on the need of the education supplies to separate items to prevent damage of supplies. Shelves and size of carts are specifically measured to fit the costly manikins for storage. Roam 1 Compartment Supply/Aluminum with tempered Glass doors 28.75""d x 20""w x 75.25""h with keypad lock Measured to fit in the simulation Manikin rooms which has limited space to train high risk events: code blue, stroke, malignant hyperthermia, rapid response, etc. These carts were uniquely designed to hold the supplies readily available for simulation scenarios for staff. Dividers and shelving were itemized for the needs unique to simulation- clear, distinct separation for easy identification Roam 2 Compartment supply with cart with tempered glass doors 28.75""d x 37.5""w x 75.25""h As above the unique characteristics. This cabinet will store the larger manikins such as trauma man, CPR manikins, airway manikin, etc. Safe storage and to prevent damage when not in use. 4. Delivery: Must be delivered within 60 days ARO 5. Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Priced Contract 6. Evaluation Factors: Price, Salient Characteristics, Letter of Authorization to distribute, lead delivery times.
