Industry Day Notice P-9837 Ambulatory Care Center and Dental Clinic Replacement Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB) Description Date: Wednesday October 12, 2022 Time: 9:00 AM EST Location: �Hilton Garden Inn � 145 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073 The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE) is developing a design-build request for proposal (DB RFP) for the P-9837 Ambulatory Care Center and Dental Clinic Replacement at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. This work will consist of designing and constructing approximately 100,000 GSF of new ambulatory surgery and medical/dental clinic spaces with a central utility plant, ambulance garage, and helipad. To ensure effective execution, NAVFAC SE is seeking industry feedback and innovative ideas to improve the attached draft solicitation, to include possible pre-fabrication and modular construction opportunities. In an effort to increase competition and develop innovative construction strategies, as well as mitigate potential logistical challenges, interested DB contractors are encouraged to attend. Attendees will hear from NAVFAC SE, the NAVFAC HQ Medical Facilities Program Office (MFPO), and the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to gain insight concerning their respective roles in this project. Guantanamo Bay Public Works Department (PWD) will provide details on base logistics and details of performing work at this OCONUS location, and the Architect-Engineer (AE) who is developing the DB RFP will share project details and provide scope insight.� The contents of the draft DB RFP are for industry use in providing feedback during this Industry Day and are subject to change. Breakout sessions will be conducted with potential offerors to meet one-on-one with the Government in the afternoon.� The quantity and length of each breakout session will depend on the number of meeting requests the Government receives. This event is open to all contractors interested in facilities support contracting and subcontracting opportunities with NAVFAC SE, specifically regarding the new Ambulatory Care Center and Dental Clinic Replacement at NSGB.� This will be an excellent opportunity for contractors with NAICS code 236220 and construction type and project type experience to collaborate with NAVFAC SE to provide the best facilities support contracting to the Navy. The estimated project range of construction is between $100,000,000 to $250,000,000. This event is open to all contractors and is not restricted to those currently under contract with NAVFAC. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, promise to contract, or commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. �Participation in this Industry Day is voluntary, and NAVFAC SE will not assume responsibility for costs incurred by attendees for their travel expenses associated with such participation.� Note: Ongoing source selections will not be discussed at the meeting.
