- STATEMENT OF WORK Eye Designs ERGO Exam Desk Brand name or Equal to SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide the materials including diagrams and instructions for VA staff to install to perform the following tasks in order to achieve the objectives of the procurement. The contractor shall deliver the materials within 160 days after receipt of order. WORK HOURS: Hours of Operation: Normal business hours for implementation work are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. National Holidays: The ten holidays observed by the Federal Government are: New Year s Day, Martin Luther King s Birthday, President s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a national holiday. SPECIFICATIONS: We require an exam system that is engineered with angled countertop cutouts that position the doctor within a 90º radius of critical controls while maintaining strong patient interaction. The 90º of efficiency increases doctor to patient face time with direct access to chair and stand controls along with the patient s data. Patient-doctor interaction advantage (never having to turn your back to patient). Shall decrease muscle fatigue and neck strain moving from patient to computer and instruments. Provide instant access to trial lenses that are now within arm s reach. Smart Office - Critical supplies such as drops, tissues, swabs and gloves are at the providers fingertips. Provide direct access to vital patient history (EMR). Provide an articulating computer arm shall enable the provider to share information with patient by simply sharing the monitor.
