Description

Special Notice Sypnopsis:� This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 �Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions� US Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District intends to negotiate/award a sole source contract with LightBox Parent, L.P to procure a USACE-Wide LandVision Commercial Real Estate Edition - National Database Subscription User Licenses.� �The purpose of this requirement is to award a contract to LightBox Parent, L.P. that provides for a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) cloud-based system, which is expandable to increase User Licenses and will provide information via a single source that allows for GIS mapping and graphic overlays to commercial, private, local, un-zoned, which allows users to view nationwide property ownership, historical records, and mapping from multiple real estate databases.� The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is Under 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quote to the contracting officer before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on September 28th 2022, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SPECIAL NOTICE 1.
