Description

The Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Hydraulics International, Inc. on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-l(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The COMFRC Aviation Support Equipment (ASE) Solomons, MD has a requirement for the materials in support of Portable Diesel Test Stand (serial number 000850-100). Hydraulics International, Inc is the OEM to the equipment and components. No other materials can be used as it would require modifications to existing components, making Hydraulics International, Inc the only source that can meet the Government's specific requirements and mission.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
