Description
Sources Sought Synopsis: This RFI is for market research purposes only. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents shall submit capability statements that clearly define the company's ability to provide the services stated in this RFI. This requirement The U.S. Army Caisson Platoon conducts memorial affairs operations in support of all Joint Services in Arlington National Cemetery to honor our Nation�s fallen service members and their families. On order, the Caisson Platoon provides assets in support of State Funeral missions and key strategic engagement ceremonies in and beyond the National Capitol Region. Farrier service is required to maintain the health and safety of the horses in the current Caisson herd used for funeral ceremonies in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. The U.S. Army Caisson Platoon�s horses vary in age and size and there are currently 55 horses.� Contractors shall be able to state rather or not they can provide all the items listed in the Statement of Work. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential small business firms capable of providing the supply and/or services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 115210 with a size standard of $9.5M The Contract Type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Please provide a capability statement addressing your company�s ability to provide the supplies required below. Include only general description of each item relative to the requirement as this is not a solicitation and no responses will be considered as proposals.
