Description

This requirement will provide essential local area Telecommunication Services (TS) and features supporting Cannon AFB, NM IAW the PWS. Site specific equipment connectivity requirements are identified in Appendix 1 of the PWS, along with required features. This LTS will support the installation 24 hours a day/seven days a week/365 days a year (24/7/365). Question #1 There is a reference for SIP service but no direction.� Is the government looking for an optional bid that includes SIP trucking? Response #1 At this time, no, we are not seeking an optional bid for SIP trunking. In the future, sometime between FY24 and FY26, we are expecting to have our voice network upgraded from the traditional legacy system to a fully IP based system. At that time, we will pursue either the addition of full SIP trunking support to the current contract or seek a separate bid. Question #2 Would the government accept a partial bid excluding the Voice, 2-Wire, E&M Sig, Loop Start circuits and the Data 4-wire (Low Speed Data) �Circuit?� Could there be upgraded to be IP or Ethernet circuits? Response #2 Unfortunately, no, we will not be able to accept a partial bid excluding the listed services. � These circuits are controlled by the FAA, and they are not expecting to have the IP (Fiber or ethernet) capable/compatible equipment available or installed at Cannon AFB until FY27, at the earliest.
