Description: The purpose of this contract is to create habitat for eastern massasauga rattlesnake. Small sunlit, open areas and brush piles north of the Au Sable River will be created adjacent to riparian zones. The work will require the use of chainsaws, brushsaws or handtools to open up small pockets of timber. Small brush piles, ? 8�x 8�x 8� in size, will be constructed to provide cover and foraging sites for the eastern massasauga rattlesnake.
