- 21 September 2022 - Please see the attached document containing questions submitted in response to this solicitation and the corresponding answers to these questions. The Contractor shall provide all labor and costs to provide Support/Maintenance Services for the Emergency Mass Notification System (EMNS) on RAF Mildenhall, UK. This system uses voice and tone bi-directional warning siren and live PA mounted on six base telephone poles. There are e (2) EMNS system controller systems that communicate with the major portions of the system to conduct polling, silent tests, alarm tone activations, pre-recorded messages, live voice broadcasts and music. In addition there are seven buildings on the base with indoor speakers that are incorporated into the EMNS system. The EMNS system consists of six (6) Juniper switches using fiber optic patches. The government will be responsible for providing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and any/all additional material required to keep the system at optimum level and meet the system configuration and factory specifications. Site Visit: A Site Visit is planned for 12 Sep 2022 at 1000 at RAF Mildenhall; all prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend and are encouraged to inspect the site where the services are to be performed. Exact details and information for the site visit will be provided after receipt of the information required in #2 below. In no event shall failure to inspect the sites constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. All offerors who intend to participate in the site visit shall coordinate base access through the Contracting Office. 1. A maximum of 3 persons per company will be allowed to participate. 2. Contractor shall provide the names, DOB, and Driving License or Passport Number of company representatives attending the site visit not later than 1430 hours British Summer Time on 08 Sep 2022, to: Peyton Cole at peyton.cole@us.af.mil, and Julie Idleman at julie.idleman@us.af.mil. 3. All questions received prior to and during the site visit will need to be recorded and submitted by contractors, in writing, to the aforementioned contracting POC's for answering. All questions and answers will be recorded and published on the Beta-SAM website for all interested parties to view. 4. The last date to submit questions regarding the solicitation is 16 Sep 2022, by 1430 hours British Summer Time.
