Description
The U.S Customs & Border Protection Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) oversees fully integrated sensors, databases, and communications capabilities such as the AMOC UHF Radio Network which provide DHS and interagency partners with a highly sophisticated domain awareness and ability to direct law enforcement agents in the prevention and interdiction of terrorist/criminal activity. This system utilizes a unique combination of off-the-shelf, specifically designed technology, and a vast assembly of circuitry for Air and Marine Operations Surveillance System (AMOSS). The AMOC recently was directed to divest from the AMOC UHF Radio Network and tasked with identifying those sites to be decommissioned. The three (3) sites identified for this requirement are located in Brunswick, GA; Fort Myers, FL and West Palm Beach, FL, with the following equipment requiring de-installing: Radio (URC-200 or GRK-171) Card Cage Shelf Associated Cards Power Supply Antenna tower brackets Amplifier Antennas and associated cabling It should be noted that CBP leases the space where the UHF components are located and does not own the towers to which they are attached. It is at the private property owners discretion to prescribe designated service vendors with whom they have granted exclusive access to their respective property. As such, 12 Stones Construction, LLC, which also required vetting by CBP, is the intended vendor to perform this requirement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with 12 Stones. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. While CBP recognizes industry-wide capabilities to deliver such services, this effort must be supported by a vendor with granted site access to adhere to the security and safety measures established by the property owner of the above sites. The anticipated award date is September 27, 2022.
