- Video Integration Site Visit 9/23/2022 @ 11:00am. Vendors Present: Storz John Gigliotti (+3) Sales Executive URO/GYN IntegriTech Tanner Hoover (+1) Business Development Manager Design Concept: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Booms and lights are not in play. Monitors on booms are in play, no wall mount monitors in SOW. Questions: Are there wallplates associated? Response: As outlined in the SOW. Are each of the OR rooms consistent in their layouts? Response: Yes, cookie cutter in layout similarity. What video backhaul style is being required? Response: Common and typical styles that will accommodate an open architecture platform supporting HDMI display port, DVI, HDSDI and VGA. Do you have a wide variety CR models that this facility uses? Response: No, we are exclusive to the GEOEC elite, 9900 model. Also exclusive to the Zeiss microscope family for eye care. Have the boom supports been tested for weight requirements by the facility? Response: Yes, weight requirements have been reviewed. Booms and lights are not apart of the requirement. Will workstations remain in same locations after the video integration upgrade, are they fixed or mobile? Response: The system is designed to adapt to the real estate provided by facility. However, the exit points of all cabling will remain in current locations. Are there any known devices utilizing HDCP right now in the hospital? Response: No, the scope of the project is to look to the future. The VA prescribes high value in lifetime expectancy of their procured equipment and the design of this upgrade is to seek best value and incorporate adaptability for future upgrades in technology. There was a very specific mention to a size of touch panels, can you talk about that please? Response: That has been rescinded from the solicitation requirements and has changed from specificity in size to preferred sizes are small-form-factor. Will new workstations be reconfigured for eyes forward field of vision? Response: Yes, current configuration is eyes back and will be reconfigured eyes forward. Do you have a number of plates you would ultimately want on the boom? Response: Minimums are going to be 1 (one) on the boom and 1 (one) on the wall. From there you can build out to your system configurations to the environment of care. What is the timeframe for project completion after award? Response: Period of principal installation has an open period of 1 year from date of award for scheduling purposes.
