- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested. Requisition Number W912HZ22Q0015 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) with intent to award as a single contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08. This requirement is being issued for Full and Open Competition under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219 with a Small Business Size Standard of $22.0 million dollars. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg MS 39180-6199 has a requirement for a service contract for GE Amersham Typhoon Fluorescent Image Analyzer (SN 87250506) is needed for continued instrument operation.� This is a patented instrument and only a certified company capable of support and maintenance to ensure manufacturing specifications are maintained is required. Environmental Laboratory (EL), Environmental Processes Branch (EP-P) requires means to monitor biological effects of chemicals and other stressors on microbes, insects, birds, and mammals as well as determine optimal microbes and/or enzymes that remediate contaminated sites.�� Such areas of research require the uninterrupted use of the GE Amersham Typhoon Fluorescent Image Analyzer (referred to as the Typhoon in the rest of this document). Maintenance Agreement This service contract for 1 base year with 4 option years should include service technician labor and travel, unlimited hardware repairs using OEM parts, and one preventative maintenance which includes a full-system diagnostic.�� Response time for repairs shall be five business days. All service shall be performed by a Cytiva/GE certified technician.� Quotes are due Thursday, September 29th by 12:00 PM (Central Time Zone): �Quotes must be provided in accordance with FAR 52.212-1.� Past performance information is required to be submitted for evaluation (52.212-1(b)(10)).� Quotes will be accepted by email only to: Shinita.M.Jordan@usace.army.mil.
