Description
RFI/Sources Sought 36C24522Q0699 Summary: Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify vendors that are interested in and capable of performing Mechanical Systems Ongoing Maintenance & Repairs at the Washington, DC Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DC VAMC) located at 50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422. Description of Work: The Contractor shall perform ongoing maintenance and repairs on the 1,325 (appx.) items included in Attachment DC VAMC Mechanical Equipment Listing - RFI Draft.xlsx . The Mechanical Systems are located at the VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. and the services will be expected to start as soon as January 1st, 2023. The intended contracting method will be a 5-year multiple-award BPA to ensure that small & veteran-owned businesses are able to compete for some or all of the work covered in the resulting BPA. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to perform Mechanical Systems Ongoing Maintenance & Repairs for some or all of the items listed in the Attachment DC VAMC Mechanical Equipment Listing - RFI Draft.xlsx at the Washington, DC Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DC VAMC). Vendor Site Visit: NCO 5 Contracting Office along with DC VAMC Maintenance and Operations will be hosting a Vendor Site-Visit for representatives from interested and capable vendors on 10/13/2022 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the DC VAMC (50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422). As a means to properly coordinate for this site visit, all interested vendors must RSVP to Darren.morris@va.gov and Bradley.Davis3@va.gov no later than 10/10/2022 with (1) your company name (including Unique Entity ID (SAM)), (2) your company representative s name(s) who plans to attend the site-visit and (3) contact information (phone & email) for the individuals who will be attending on the company s behalf. Instructions on arrival locations, screening requirements, etc. will be forwarded to those vendors who RSVP via email to the appropriate POC s by the requested date of 10/10/2022. NOTE: Attending the Vendor Site-Visit is not required and an interested vendor who is unable to attend the Site-Visit can still submit a capability statement for review by the contracting office. Please respond to this RFI/Sources Sought 36C24522Q0699 with your: 1. Business name (including Unique Entity ID (SAM.gov), business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing these types of services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar facilities & equipment. 3. GSA contract number to include NAICS (if applicable). 4. Brief Summary of categories of maintenance that your company can/cannot provide. 5. Applicable Equipment Maintenance Certification(s) for subject equipment listed in equipment listing attachment. Responses must be submitted by 5:00 PM (ET) October 15, 2022. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to darren.morris@va.gov . Please include 36C24522Q0699 in the email subject to ensure that messages aren t overlooked. This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY and does not constitute a solicitation, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., SDVOSB/SDVOSB set-aside, small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred as a result of a vendor s attendance to the Site-Visit nor the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
