Qty (1) HAAS VF2-YT Vertical Machining Center INTRODUCTION The ES62 branch building 4755 does prototype fabrication and testing of life support systems for the International Space Station, which includes Water Recovery Systems, Oxygen Scrubbers and waste removal. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES Goals will be to: 1. Support ES62 branch with fabrication and machining of prototype parts. 2. Purchase ES62 with a vertical machining center that complies with the performance requirements listed. Item 1 Requirement Vertical Machining Center 30� x 20� x 20� -Table 36� x 18� x 3000lb Max. Load - 40 taper spindle - 30 hp vector drive, 8100 rpm, 90 ft-lb @2000 rpm, inline direct drive - 1000 ipm rapids - Max Cutting 650in/min -55 gallon flood coolant system - Max machine footprint: 90� L x 97� D x 109� H - Max Weight: 7400 lbs - Controller Features: 3 V5.03 JULY 2022 15� color LCD monitor, Media Display M Code; M130 Window Air Blast, Graphic Dry Run, Self-Diagnostics, Ethernet Interface, USB Port, Memory Lock Keyswitch, Rigid Tapping, Advanced Pocket Milling, Tool Life Management, Background Editing, 1 Gigabyte Program Memory, Remote Monitoring and Power Failure Detection module Item 2 Requirement 64GB Expanded on-board solid-state memory Allows storing, running, and editing large programs. Item 3 Requirement CC Auger style chip conveyor Removes chips form the machine, while compressing them and wringing out the coolant. Item 4 Requirement 4AXBL 4th Axis Drive Allows ability to run fully interpolated, complex 4-axis programs. The 4-axis drive allows the use of a fully integrated 4th-axis Haas rotary table or indexer for multi-sided machining Item 5 Requirement WIPS-R Wireless Intuitive Probing System (WIPS) Allows the ability to define work offset coordinates, set tool length offsets, and perform in-process inspection within the program, for both part inspection and tool breakage detection. Item 6 Requirement HSM High-Speed Machining allows faster feedrates, more complex toolpaths without hesitation. Provides contouring speeds up to 1200 ipm without risk of distortion to the programmed tool path. Item 7 Requirement SMTC-30-40T 30 Tool servo driven side mount tool changer holds 30 tools, plus one in the spindle. Located outside the work area frees up additional work space, and adds greater flexibility when using large fixtures or rotary tables. Item 8 Requirement P-Cool 4 V5.03 JULY 2022 Programmable Coolant Nozzle. This is a multi-position nozzle that automatically directs the coolant precisely at the cutting tool. This saves time adjusting coolant position between every tool and keeps the chips flushed off the parts that are being cut, saving tool life and maintaining a better surface finish on the parts. Item 9 Requirement Machine Breakdown This is required for the Haas Technician to breakdown the machine to allow for installation into our shop due to our restrictions of getting the machine through our building and into our shop and to assemble the machine once it is in place in our shop. Item 10 Requirement High Pressure Coolant This system provides a high pressure coolant flow the keep the chips washed off the parts being machined, which allows for better tool life and better quality parts. Item 11 Requirement Rotary Accessory This is a 210mm Servo Rotary Table which allows us to machine many of the parts needed, this is absolutely need to machine 4BC02 parts. Item 12 IUID_Tag This is the IUID tag plate per MIL-STD-130x Item 13 This is FOB Destination delivery please include the shipping.
