CONTINUATION PAGE Question and Answers from site visit Please find our questions below for the subject solicitation: All scheduling will be done through either (1) the Operations Supervisor, (2) the AC Shop Supervisor, (3) the AC Shop Leader, or (4) the M&O Supervisor Chiller located on 3rd/4th floor we believe they said serves the Surgery Suite: What scheduling requirements are needed to take off-line for servicing? Chiller Annuals are performed during winter months when chiller load is low, generally December thru February. Chiller Plant: What are scheduling requirements for performing Annuals on Chillers? Same as Question 1. Concrete Cooling Tower with 3 Fans: What are scheduling requirements for inspection on CT? Same as Question 1. Should all pumps (approx. 12 total pumps) be included on the scheduled inspections? This was not clear in the scope of work described or mentioned specifically with other equipment that was clearly listed. Yes. Actual number is 13 pumps. If awarded as service contractor, will we also be called upon for unscheduled service calls? That depends on the task(s) to be performed. Can the cells of the concrete cooling tower be isolated allowing one cell to be cleaned at a time? Yes. The bottom of page 9 reads 3. The Contractor shall make thorough inspection of the equipment at six-month intervals during the months of January and July. Can the government please provide the scope of work associated with this task? Should this be considered a misprint? Remove the July requirement. This appears to call for 2 Annual Inspections. We don t, and actually can t (due to heavy chiller load during the summer), perform this task in July. Can all tasks associated with this RFQ be completed during normal business hours? If not, please advise What tasks for what pieces of equipment will need to be performed after hours. Yes, all tasks WILL be performed during normal business hours.
