Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS!�The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a�sole source�requirement for a Joint Range Extension (JRE) for the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I). This is a�Sole Source�with Science Applications International Corporation. IAW FAR 13.501(a)(2)(i). IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), Science Applications International Corporation is the only source capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement of the to provide data link capability. JRE's are hardware systems that receives information transmitted on a tactical data link and forwards that information to another tactical data link terminal beyond the line of sight (LOS). Serial #'s of the JRE's that need hardware support: 5043, 5044, and 5082. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 33411. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Phone calls will not be accepted.
