Description
SUBJECT:�Expression of Interest (EOI) for Potential Partners for Potential Gender-Focused Activity in Northeast Syria Dear Interested Parties: USAID seeks information about potential partners for an upcoming activity in Northeast Syria (NES). Interested parties should submit their responses using Attachment A electronically to genderfocusedactivity@usaid.gov with the subject title �Gender-Focused Activity in Northeast Syria-EOI� no later than October 27, 2022, by 15:00 Amman time. A separate capabilities statement may be included as long as at least the same information as in Attachment A is provided. Local Syrian organizations are strongly encouraged to respond. No selection of instrument has been determined for any program to which this EOI may lead. This is not a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation or award or to pay for any cost incurred in the preparation and submission in responses to this EOI. Responding to this EOI will not give any advantage in a subsequent procurement. Responses will be used for internal purposes and will be held confidentially. You may receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of your response but will not receive individualized feedback. We may reach out to individual respondents for further clarifications and questions, such as regarding the below or similar questions. No specific responses are requested at this time: What�was your experience addressing gender barriers in NES?� What are the key factors or approaches that you have found effective in addressing those barriers? What opportunities are there for women to participate in the NES economy? What is your experience in increasing women�s access to livelihood opportunities? Have you done any work related to psychosocial support for women in NES? How did that succeed and what were the challenges? Thank you for your interest in USAID programs.
