Description

Notice: This is a Notice of Intent to a Sole Source acquisition for a maintenance contract for DVS SAN and DVS Clipster The Library of Congress (Library) requires renewal of its maintenance contract for its DVS SAN and DVS Clipster.� This equipment is manufactured and sold by DVS, a division of Rohde & Schwarz of Columbia, MD.� �The Library needs factory certified maintenance for these machines as they are highly complex and central to the operation of the Film Lab at The National Audiovisual Conservation Center�(NAVCC) � the parts and expertise are only available from the manufacturer. �This is a requirement for a base plus two option periods from 11/09/2022 � 01/30/2025. Please see the Justification & Approval For Other than Full and Open Competition.� Document name: JA �- Sole Source DVS SAN and Clipster-FINAL__Redacted.� Also see the draft Statement of Work document titled: SOW-DVS SAN and Clipster-Draft for more specific requirement information. The Library intends to fulfill this requirement by issuing a sole source contract award to: Rohde & Schwarz USA Inc., 6821 Benjamin Franklin Dr., Columbia MD 21046-2663.� Any firm that wishes to be considered for this requirement and believes that this does not meet the Sole Source criteria must submit a capability statement that demonstrates its ability to meet all the requirements described in the draft Statement of Work attached to this notice. �The capability statement must be received no later than 5:00 pm EDT, October 23, 2022. �The capability statement must not exceed five (5) double-spaced pages and shall include the following information: Company name, SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address Corporate structure (corporation, LLC, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, Professional Corporation, etc.) References, including name, phone number, and e-mail address of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities indicated in the statement of work.� If other vendors express interest in this award, the Library reserves the right to proceed on a sole source basis if the conditions warrant it. In accordance with LC06.305, Availability of the Justification, the Justification and Approval to issue a sole-source contract to Rohde & Schwarz of Columbia, MD is posted with this notice.
