- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Transatlantic Middle East District (CETAM) will host an in-person and virtual Industry Day on 20 October 2022.�Check-in on the day of the event will begin at 0800. Program overview and other topics will be covered from 0900-1130. A question & answer (Q&A) session with Contracting, Construction, Engineering, Real Estate, and Programs and Project Management will occur in the afternoon from 1330-1600.� The location will be in Winchester, VA at The George Washington Hotel.�A virtual link will be announced a few days prior to the event. The purpose of Industry Day is for contractors to gain an understanding of the current and upcoming program opportunities in the CENTCOM Area of Operation (AOR) as well as other select topics covered by CETAM leadership.�There will be an opportunity to openly discuss any questions, comments, or concerns contractors have about working in the CENTCOM AOR during the afternoon Q&A session CETAM will solicit questions from industry in advance of the event.�Please submit any questions by 1600 Eastern Daylight Time, 14 October 2022 to the attention of Mr. David Walden, David.I.Walden@usace.army.mil, and Mr. Benjamin Williams, Benjamin.C.Williams@usace.army.mil, with the Subject Line:� Industry Day Oct 2022.�CETAM will evaluate questions and provide responses during the Q&A portion of the event. All attendees are asked to provide their company name and attendee names with titles also by 14 October 2022. Please RSVP with this information to Ms. Shelly Pitta at shelley.c.pitta@usace.army.mil and to Mr. Walden at the email noted above, with the Subject Line:� RSVP Industry Day Oct 2022. We are currently not limiting in-person attendance at the event, however, this may change if an overwhelming number of companies intend to send representatives.
