- Description
- This is not a Request for Quote. This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information. The purpose of this announcement is for market research purposes to determine what capable software solutions and businesses are available that can support a requirement for internal and external Enterprise Search for the Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA). A copy of the draft Statement of Work is attached. Previously, Perceptive Content, by Hyland, was utilized for these services. Due to moving to Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive, the Government is considering the procurement of Alfresco, by Hyland. Potential offerors that can offer a similar software solution may submit a capability statement with additional information indicating their product offering that will be considered by the agency. The documentation statement shall be no more than ten (10) pages in length and shall address the following topics: - Organization's name, Address, Phone Number, Email, and Point of Contact Information - Brief summary describing your organization software that could complete this requirement. Indicate what contract vehicle(s) these products are available (e.g. GSA Schedule, NASA SEWP, etc). If available on GSA Schedule, indicate what SIN would be applicable for any part of this procurement. - Description other organizations utilizing the proposed software solution. Provide the name of business and organization, date of award & completion, and estimated award value - Include your business size classification (e.g. large business, small business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDB, SDVOSB, WOSB, VOSB, etc.). If on the GSA Schedule, provide the business size information listed for the Schedule. The government is also requesting that firms submit any applicable questions or advice for the government to consider as it works to finalize its requirements documents. Areas specifically related to implementing this requirement are encouraged. All responses shall be sent to Joan Clarkston via email at joan_clarkston@ibc.doi.gov no later than the date specified. In the email subject heading, include the words ""Search Engine Software"" with the response. The government is considering if it will permit vendor demonstrations at no cost to the government. If demonstrations are permitted, we would appreciate knowing: 1. How much lead time would be required to schedule the event? 2. How long a typical demonstration would take? 3. Can the government install the software or if the contractor would need to participate? 4. Is the software compliant with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)? 5. If the software is not FedRAMP, does the vendor have any plans for FedRAMP compliance? If DOI sponsors for FedRAMP, is the vendor amenable in going through FedRAMP approval process. Any questions or recommendations regarding this process are highly encouraged. There is no page limitation for this submission or feedback on the requirements documents. Responses to this request for information shall not constitute responses to any request for quote, which is not currently available. No request for quote currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the request for quote. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely at the Government's discretion. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's evaluation of the capability statement received may factor into whether any forthcoming request for quote will be conducted as a small business set-aside, full and open competition, or sole-source procurement. The Government may also utilize responses to determine potential sources that may be solicited depending on the method of procurement selected.
