AMENDMENT 0001 is forthcoming and will be posted no later than close of business 14 October 2022. PLEASE NOTE: A site visit will be held on 19 October 2022 at 10 am CT. More information will be contained within the amendment.� ------------------------ PROJECT TITLE: Indiana Shoreline Erosion Project � Beach Nourishment Services This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to the provisions set forth by Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, �Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.� INVITATION FOR BID: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District Office, located at 231 S. La Salle St, Suite 1500, Chicago, Illinois 60604, is seeking proposals from SMALL BUSINESSES to perform the work described herein. Note: The solicitation will be available on the web only. Faxed, telephoned, or mailed requests for this solicitation will not be honored. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at the Federal Contract Opportunities website at www.SAM.gov. GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT: The Government intends to award one (1) firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, resulting from this solicitation, to provide beach nourishment services for the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore located in Michigan City, Indiana, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The IDIQ contract resulting from this solicitation will have a maximum capacity of $15M. Additionally, this IDIQ will have a minimum guaranteed amount to which the Government hereby obligates itself to obtain no less than $10,000.00 in services under the resultant contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: This IDIQ contract will have a five (5) calendar year ordering period starting from Date of Award (DOA). COMPETITION: Competition for this acquisition is RESTRICTED to ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 484220 � Specialized Freight (except Used Goods), with a Small Business size standard of $30M. DUE DATE AND TIME: BIDS WILL BE REQUIRED NO LATER THAN October 17, 2022, AT 12:00 P.M. (Central Time).� Submission requirements and Bid Opening procedures are specified in the �E-Submission Instructions� provided in the solicitation document. BASIS OF AWARD: One (1) award will be made to the responsive, responsible Contractor submitting the lowest priced offer for the items called in the solicitation. NOTE: Past performance will be verified via the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS). REPRESENTATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER STATEMENT OF OFFERORS: In addition to the completed price breakout schedule/bid schedule, the Offeror must complete their Representations and Certifications.
