- Pre-Solicitation Notice to solicit for a contractor to provide the PeriScan PSI NR Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging (LSCI) mobile touchproof blood flow/perfusion system to the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Brain Rehabilitation Research Center located at 1601 S.W. Archer Road, Gainesville FL 32608. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order for a 6-to-8-week delivery period. The overall goal is to support current on-going research and this blood perfusion monitoring system is the only one that meets the requirements for the Brain Rehabilitation Research Center's needs. This equipment quantifies blood flow (perfusion) in tissue without contacting the body (touch free) using laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI). This advanced technology will save the research team time, money, and provide more accurate results. The PeriCam PSI NR system is critical to meet the demands and goals of the research being proposed timely. The required salient characteristics and specifications required will be listed in the Statement of Work (SOW) that will be included with the Solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside on or about 10/14/2022. The applicable NAICS code is 339112 with a 1,000 Employee Size Standard. The FSC/PSC is 6640. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract.
