- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) Contracting Department (Code 400), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a firm fixed price, sole-source service contract to Western Washington Fair Association, 110 9th Avenue SW | Puyallup WA 98371-6811. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).� The period of performance shall be from 27 October 2022 to 28 October 2022. This requirement is to lease a facility space to hold a Job Fair for two days within Peirce county, Washington State. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 531120- Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except mini warehouses), with a business size at $30,000,000.00. The Product Service Code is X1AB- Lease/Rental of Conference Space and Facilities. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than October 18, 2022 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with subject line stating - RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A23Q5701. A determination to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. PSNS and IMF Contracting will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist Melissa Ayers, by email at melissa.ayers@navy.mil and Contracting Officer, Dylan Ford at Dylan.j.ford.crv@us.navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements. Scope:�� The Government requires a large facility to accommodate a job fair. The facility must be large enough to have 85 booths to represent different trades/organizations with in the shipyard and room for approximately 2000+ people to walk through daily. The rental for the facility will include janitorial services throughout the event. The venue must be able to be secured each night of the rental at 6:00PM with no access to anyone not authorized by the Government. The facility shall: � Be able to accommodate a large number of people (approximately 400) at any given time. � Include adequate parking for over 400 vehicles in close proximity to the facility � Be able to configure the room in to two separate spaces. One of the spaces will be setup as the interview area to facilitate successful interviewing of prospective applicants. The other space will showcase the different trade/organization opportunities available within the Shipyard. � Provide additional equipment:� 6ft tables, padded chairs, tablecloths, draping for sections separation, electrical drops, ability to secure the venue daily, support staff, adequate parking, wi-fi, setup/takedown services, etc. The Contractor shall provide the following each day of the Period of Performance: � One room (one setup day, two event days) � 85 each 6-foot banquet tables (in place per floor plan diagram) � 85 table cloths (54� x 90�, white) � 200 each chairs (setup up according to specific diagram) � 450� standard trade show pipe and drape (8� tall masking banjo drape) (per a specific diagram) � Standard Electrical connections for the vendor booths (as noted on the floor plan).� Booths along the walls will have access to wall outlets.� No extension cords provided. � One (1) dumpster � Event Attendant to open and secure venue each day � Janitorial services for restrooms � Display area outside for crane � Gold Parking Lot Access for all public parking (no parking charge to attendees) � Free Wi-Fi (no technical support for this service) � Take down of tables, chairs, masking drape, and electrical drops
