- Alaska True North Events Coordinator/ Planner Services Sources Sought 19 October 2022 1. The purpose of this sources sought is to obtain information from qualified and experienced contractors for an Events Coordinator/ Planner Services located at JBER, Alaska. 2. The work to be performed is within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561920 Convention and Trade Show Organizers and PSC R499, Other Professional Services 3. The Government is contemplating a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a of five (5) years ordering period with a two (2) year base period and an optional three (3) year period. 4. This potential acquisition is being considered as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. 5. The Government anticipates awarding to multiple offerors. 6. The Government is requesting that interested parties, capable of satisfying the following True North Events Coordinator requirements. Description of Services:� The Alaska True North Team is Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice for Event Planning Services, which will include the following: provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform event planning services located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. The purpose of this requirement is to provide an organized and efficient process for True North teams to execute (including, but not limited to) Chaplain-led programs, Integrated Resiliency programs, and other community building resiliency events for JBER/True North units.� The Chaplain Corps has the primary responsibility for the Spiritual Domain Tenets within Comprehensive Airman Fitness and contributes substantially to the remaining three domains.� These events will bolster spiritual fitness, increase morale, and build community throughout assigned JBER/True North units and personnel.� � � �� The True North Events Coordinator will coordinate and schedule events for units assigned to/tenets of JBER and the True North units, with its primary emphasis being Comprehensive Airman Fitness (CAF) of the JBER community as a whole.� Coordinator services include researching/providing vendors to execute planning/scheduling events and fulfill logistics to execute events including (but not limited to) fishing charter trips, snow mobile (snow machine) trips, team building events, soft-skills curriculum, unit cookouts, retreats, and any other CAF/Integrated Resiliency events developed by True North teams.� The events will be sponsored by the True North program and will involve the military community assigned and located at the JBER installation, and/or fall under True North units.� The Coordinator will conduct networking with vendors, handle logistics and planning of events, coordinate pricing, schedule events, coordinate travel (if needed), and handle administrative duties for payment/execution of events. Firm's interest to qualify (e.g., prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, primary subcontractor) j. Socio-Economic status k. CAPABILITY STATEMENT: Interested parties must demonstrate a history of relevant Events Coordinator/ Planner Services and recent (within the last five fiscal years) performance history. The history should identify contract or project number, project title, dollar amount, point(s) of contact with telephone/fax numbers, and in what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor, etc.) performed. Information submitted shall be in sufficient detail as to allow for Government review of the firm's interest and capabilities. Responses shall be limited to six (6) pages (front only). 7. Responses to this request are due via email to John Gosh at john.gosh@us.af.mil and George Strand at �george.strand@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2, 2022 (AST). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This is only a request for information and any information provided is voluntary. All costs associated with responding to this request are solely at the interested parties� expense. Responses to this notice may be used to determine appropriate acquisition strategies for future acquisitions. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged. If a solicitation is issued, it will be posted at a later date utilizing the SAM.gov website. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this notice and are responsible for monitoring the Sam.gov website for the posting of any solicitation or subsequent updates.
