- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS This notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is the follow on for the existing requirement to provide support to 2D Cavalry Regiment SBCT (2CR) units day-to-day Property Book and Unit Supply operations under newly fielded software package Global Combat Support System � Army (GCSS-A), and Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) at Government Owned/Government Operated (GO/GO) facilities in 2CR�s area of responsibility (AOR). This requirement is for a period of seven(7) months.�� The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561990- All other support systems.� THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS.� A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
