- AMENDMENT 2 (10/24/2022): Q&A RESPONSES Question 1: Can we be provided a site map or evacuation map? Answer 1: A site visit is available to view the facilities. Question 2: Who takes care of the recycling bins with paper? Answer 2: The employees at the office. (this was provided in the vendor's email) Question 3: If there are dishes in the kitchen sink, is the contractor responsible for cleaning those dishes? Answer 3: No, office staff does their own dishes. Question 4: Are any of the employees allergic to any cleaning chemicals that may be used to clean the building? Answer 4: No allergies that we are aware of. Question 5: Is there any equipment owned by the facility available to use for the work? Answer 5: No, all necessary equipment is to be provided by the contractor per the Statement of Work. Question 6: What is the square footage of carpeted and non-carpeted floors? Answer 6: Approximately 50% carpeted and 50% non-carpeted per Statement of Work. Question 7: How many sinks, stalls, and toilets are in the restroom(s)? Answer 7:�2 bathrooms - Womens has 1 stall and 1 sink; Mens has 1 stall, 1 urinal, 1 sink Questions 8: How many water fountains and kitchen sinks (in the breakroom) are there? Answer 8: There is 1 water fountain and 1 kitchen sink. Question 9: Is floor stripping a requirement, or is wax maintenance and buffing more appropriate? Answer 9: Requirements for hard floor cleaning are outlined within daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks per the Statement of Work. END OF AMENDMENT 2. AMENDMENT 1 (10/19/2022): Incumbent Information The incumbent is X-Clean Corp. END OF AMENDMENT 1 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 561720, and the business size standard is $19.5 million. This will be awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable vendor. This combined solicitation/synopsis is for non-personal janitorial services for the National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) located in Johnston, IA for one base year with four option years. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED COMBINED SYNOPSIS WITH ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH ALL VENDORS MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. AT A MINIMUM, ALL QUOTES SHOULD INCLUDE CONTACT INFORMATION AND UNIQUE ENTITY ID/CAGE CODE.
